Gran Turismo HD

Gran Turismo HD was the first GT game available on the PlayStation 3. First announced at the 2006 Tokyo Game Show, GTHD was originally slated to be a transitional title between GT4 and GT5 in which downloadable content such as cars and tracks could be purchased and eventually used in Gran Turismo 5.

The proposition was not well received and those plans were scrapped later that year, but Gran Turismo HD: Concept lived on as a free demo on the PlayStation Network, released in November of 2006. It featured only 10 cars, but was the first GT game to include Ferrari. It also introduced the Eiger Nordwand circuit to the GT series.

Gran tourismo HD était le premier jeu de la série GT disponible sur Playstation 3. D'abord annoncé au Tokyo Game Show 2006, GTHD était à l'origine prévu pour être une transition entre GT4 et GT5 dans lequel du contenu téléchargeable tel que des voitures et des circuits pourraient être achetées et éventuellement utilisées dans GT5.

Cette proposition ne fut pas bien accueillie et ce projet fut abandonné plus tard cette année, mais Gran Turismo HD survécut en tant que Démo jouable sur le Playstation Network, est fut disponible en novembre 2006. Il ne disposait que de 10 voitures, mais ce fut le premier GT à accueillir des Ferrari. Il a également introduit le circuit Eiger Norwand dans la série GT.
